WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR HIKE: OK. Mostly cloudy but no rain, and good visibility into Baker River valley and of Stinson Lake

OTHER COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.) At one point there were 6 of us going, but 4 (including CL) cancelled.

LENGTH IN MILES: 4.5 we think. Joe was not present with his GPS. Several cell phone readings averaged 4.5

DIFFICULTY: D (A=very strenuous; B=strenuous; C=average; D=easy)

Plenty of mud. With armth and humidity bugs are beginning to show up but not bother us. At the end, we were surprised we had walked so far.
