Mt. Crawford via Davis Path

TRAILHEAD PARKING LOCATION & DESCRIPTION:    Parked at large paved Davis Path Trailhead parking lot off Rte. 302 (opposite Notchland Inn)

WAS TRIP WITHIN WHITE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL FOREST?  Yes     

BRIEFLY DESCRIBE SPECIFIC TRAILS HIKED AND TRAIL CONDITIONS ENCOUNTERED: Hiked Davis Path up to spur path leading to the summit of Mt. Crawford.  Trail appeared to be in fine condition, although we had to skirt two beaver ponds at the start of the hike.
WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR HIKE:  Sunny and mild with temps in high 60s, but surprisingly humid.  Black flies presented minor nuisance.

OTHER COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.)  Wonderful views from summit of Mt. Crawford.   Only issue was that one pre-registered participant went to wrong trailhead and missed hike.
