BRIEFLY
DESCRIBE SPECIFIC TRAILS HIKED AND TRAIL CONDITIONS ENCOUNTERED: The hike is
through wooded conservation land with frequent moderate hills with roots and
leaves. The middle section of the hike
is along the beach of Little Bay with views of Toby's and Emmon's Islands
and an oyster farm. The trails were dry although slippery in a
few spots due to the leaves on steeper trails.
WEATHER
CONDITIONS FOR HIKE: Beautiful blue skies, low 50s, wind 10-15 mph, very low
tide
OTHER
COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.) No problems were encountered. The group was able to stay together fairly
well. Our sweep, Cathy Giordano, is also
a Level I Cape and SEM hike leader.
