BRIEFLY DESCRIBE SPECIFIC TRAILS HIKED AND TRAIL CONDITIONS ENCOUNTERED: West Side, French, Northwest, NEMBA, Ridge, Quarry Loop, Morse Loop, Friends, Ridge, Upper Granite Hills, Lower Granite Hills, Pond Walk

WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR HIKE: Upper 30s, gray day.

OTHER COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.) A bit of snow on some trails, but no problems. A little (slippery) ice on a few bog bridges.
Bottom line, a great day to start the year with a nice long hike at Borderland. Everyone did fine and we had fun.
