BRIEFLY DESCRIBE SPECIFIC TRAILS HIKED AND TRAIL CONDITIONS ENCOUNTERED:
Hiked over to view Pakomet Spring. Then hike around and over Hawk Hill (quite slippery but everyone did ok). We then crossed over to the Streamside Edge path and hiked the triangle where we saw ‘Panther Cave’ heading north on Branch Path. At 3066, for the fun of it, we bushwacked back to Hawk Hill Path and saw a doe.
WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR HIKE: damp and humid, 50% overcast, lower 70’s.

Hiked Mt. Langdon trail to Mt. Parker trail. Trail was well graded and had switchbacks on a section. Trail was dry and very pleasant to hike. Well-blazed.

WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR HIKE: Excellent, sunny, dry, clear day.

OTHER COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.) 360 degree views from the top, open ledges. Beautiful!!!

Davis Path to Mt. Crawford Spur to Mt. Crawford; Davis Path to Giant Stairs Spur to Stairs Mtn.; Davis Path to Mt. Parker Trail to Mt. Resolution. Returned on Davis Path.

WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR HIKE: Absolutely beautiful clear, sunny skies, very humid

OTHER COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.) Fabulous views all around! Trail was dry, but fairly steep all the way to Mt. Crawford.

OTHER COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.) This was the annual RLBH picnic with a  pre hike. 16 hikers joined 11 Picnickers for a pot luck dinner in the Gazebo. The rain held off, although for a July night it was quite chilly at 54 degrees.
