BRIEFLY DESCRIBE SPECIFIC TRAILS HIKED AND TRAIL CONDITIONS ENCOUNTERED:

Hiked out along Wood Path and Wampatuck Path to pick up the Skyline trail towards Nahanton

Hill.  Hiked down the Squamaug Notch to take the Curve path, Laurel Path and Hemlock Path

around the Great Cedar Swamp.

WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR HIKE: Very hot and humid, upper 80’s

OTHER COMMENTS (problems, views, terrain, etc.)

Enjoyable hike, saw many deer along the Squamaug Notch.  Surprisingly few bugs even around

the Great Cedar Swamp.

IMPORTANT: Contact Hike Committee Chair ASAP with any medical emergencies or other

serious incidents.
